As of 4:00 AM, June 24, 2025, a Low Pressure Area (LPA) was located 210 km west-southwest of Cubi Point, affecting western Luzon. It is expected to bring scattered rains and thunderstorms over Pangasinan, Zambales, and Bataan throughout the day. These conditions may cause flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rainfall.
The Southwest Monsoon is also influencing the weather in Metro Manila, CALABARZON, Bicol Region, MIMAROPA, Western Visayas, the Zamboanga Peninsula, and other parts of Central Luzon, where similar scattered rains and thunderstorms are forecast. Residents are advised to remain cautious in flood- and landslide-prone areas.
Meanwhile, the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated thunderstorms, mainly in the afternoon. The Visayas and Mindanao will also experience localized rain showers due to monsoon activity, particularly in the evening.
Winds will be light to moderate, coming from the southwest, with slight to moderate sea conditions across the archipelago. These conditions are generally safe for maritime travel, but small vessels should be cautious, especially near western coastal areas.
Reminder: This forecast covers the period until 4:00 AM on June 25, 2025. Stay tuned to PAGASA for further updates. Remain alert and prepared for possible weather disruptions and safety risks.
