The 2nd Asia-Pacific Topnotch Men & Women Achievers Awards turned into a star-studded celebration as some of the country’s biggest names in entertainment, business, public service, media, and pageantry gathered at Selah Pods Hotel on July 11.
For event founder and president Director Romm Burlat, the evening was a huge success. Despite forecasts of bad weather, the rain held off, allowing almost all awardees and invited guests to attend the prestigious event.
The ballroom was filled with distinguished personalities from the fields of media, entertainment, business, pageantry, and public service. Among those in attendance were veteran broadcasters Korina Sanchez-Roxas, Gus Abelgas, and Marc Logan; lifestyle icon Cory Quirino; actors Raymond Bagatsing and Monsour del Rosario; beauty queen, philanthropist, and businesswoman Cecille Bravo; actress Patricia Javier; line producer Dennis Evangelista; singer-actor Mygz Molino; singer and pilot Captain Janah Zaplan; film producer Baby F. Go; director Tonz Are; awards guru Richard Hinola, businesswoman Love Gan; and members of Blue Dreamers PH, together with many other notable personalities from the business, pageantry, and political sectors.
The media industry was also well represented, with entertainment writers and online radio hosts John Fontanilla and Rommel Placente, Abante Tonite editor Roldan Castro, and Anne Venancio among those recognized during the ceremony. Media partners Bilyonaryo Channel, Abante Radio, Agenda, and Pinas News Central also participated in the event.
Keeping the program lively from start to finish were hosts Direk Romm Burlat, Raymond Gorospe, and JM Salamat, who welcomed guests and guided the evening’s festivities.
In his opening remarks, Direk Romm said the event was about more than simply handing out awards.
“Tonight is more than an awards ceremony. It’s a celebration of excellence, leadership, innovation, and remarkable achievements. We’re here to honor individuals whose dedication, perseverance, and commitment have made a lasting impact in their respective fields and communities,” he said.
He also emphasized that every award tells a story of hard work and determination.
“Every recognition given tonight represents years of sacrifice, resilience, and perseverance. More importantly, it reflects the positive impact our awardees have made on the lives of others. We hope this inspires everyone to continue striving for excellence and meaningful service,” he added.
Direk Romm also thanked the organizing committee, sponsors, media partners, and everyone who helped make the event possible.
As the night came to a close, the 2nd Asia-Pacific Topnotch Men & Women Achievers Awards once again fulfilled its mission of recognizing individuals who continue to make a difference in business, public service, entertainment, media, and community development.
For Direk Romm, the successful staging of this year’s awards is another milestone in celebrating excellence across the Asia-Pacific region while bringing together inspiring personalities, success stories, and opportunities for future collaborations under one roof.
