MANILA, Philippines — Maja Salvador has clarified that there is no conflict between her and Kathryn Bernardo despite the two actresses having separate tents while filming their upcoming series Someone, Someday.
Salvador and Bernardo are working together on the ABS-CBN series, with Bernardo playing an actress and Salvador portraying her fan.
According to Salvador, they deliberately stay in separate tents because they tend to spend too much time talking whenever they are together.
“’Pag magkasama kami sa tent, wala tayong matatapos na eksena,” Salvador explained, noting that their close relationship often leads to extended conversations.
She said the arrangement helps them maintain their focus, particularly when filming emotionally demanding scenes.
Salvador also described Bernardo as being like a younger sister to her and said their close bond sometimes makes it difficult to immediately transition from casual conversations to their respective characters.
The actress also recalled having to encourage Bernardo during difficult scenes that required physical confrontation.
She said Bernardo was initially hesitant about performing some of the scenes, including those involving slapping and punching, but eventually followed the requirements of the script.
Someone, Someday is scheduled to air at 8:45 p.m. on ALLTV2, TV5, A2Z, Kapamilya Channel and Kapamilya Online Live on YouTube and Facebook.
