Senator Christopher “Bong” Go visited the recently constructed Bypass Road in Imus City, Cavite, linking Buhay na Tubig to Bahayang Pag-asa Phase 1, on Tuesday, June 11,
The road was stretched to connect two main neighbourhood zones, cutting travel time and improving access to some services.
Moreover, the Bypass Road is intended to lessen traffic congestion, improve transportation logistics, and promote economic growth in Cavite. During his visit, Go emphasised the project’s contribution to the local community’s socioeconomic development, and how improved transportation networks can attract more investors to Cavite, hence increasing job creation and economic activity.
Go supported road projects in Cavite, Dasmariñas, General Trias, Imus, and Tagaytay, as well as the rehabilitation and improvement of the municipal fire station in Noveleta, covered courts in various barangays in General Trias City, an improvement of a sports facility at Cavite State University in Indang, and providing ambulance units for the local government of Indang and Trece Martires City,
Go also supported barangay health personnel, nutrition workers, and indigents in Imus City, Cavite.
He examined the Imus City Super Health Centre, and he proudly stated that one of his primary priorities is the creation of more Super Health Centres nationally, as Chair of the Senate Committee on Health and Demography.
