Cong. Wilbert T. Lee is the Representative of AGRI Party-list (AGRI-AGRA Na Reporma Para Sa Magsasaka ng Pilipinas) in the 19th Congress, where he champions the rights and welfare of farmers, fisherfolk, and marginalized sectors.
Cong. Lee seeks to ease the burden and uplift the lives of every Filipino family, advocating for job security, food security and quality and affordable health care. At present Cong. Lee sits on 24 Congressional Committees and on the Congressional Oversight Committee on the Official Development Assistance (COCODA). He is the principal author and author of more than 230 Bills and Resolutions. Among these are Republic Act (RA) No. 11953 or the “New Agrarian Emancipation Act” and RA No. 11956 or the “Estate Tax Amnesty Extension Act”. He is also the principal author of the proposed Philippine Salt Industry Development Act.
A successful Bicolano businessman before being elected to public office, Cong. Lee served as the former Chairman of the LKY Group of Companies and founded the LKY Foundation, which provides relief and support to Filipinos who are sick or are victims of typhoons and other natural calamities.
As a businessman, he earned the following distinctions: the Rokyaw Ibalnong Awards for Business and Industry, Most Outstanding Sorsogueño Award in the field of Business and Industry, and Bicol’s prestigious “Halyao Award” as Bicolano Businessman of the Year.
Born on October 12, 1970, Cong. Lee is an alumnus of the University of Santo Tomas with a degree in Business Administration.
He has been happily married for 30 years to his wife Delphine Gan Lee, who served two terms as AGRI Party-list Representative.
