According to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), a total of 2,761,085 individuals, or 779,614 families, have already been affected by Typhoon Uwan in the country.
According to the most recent report from the DSWD-Disaster Management Response, the affected figures are from Bicol, CALABARZON, and MIMAROPA.
More than a million people, or 320,694 individuals, are presently in evacuation centers.
While 351,755 people, or 102,684 households, are residing with friends or family.
Currently, the DSWD has more than 57 million pesos in humanitarian assistance for typhoon-affected families.
