Actress-comedienne Kiray Celis is making headlines once again — this time for a prenup photo in Osaka’s Dotonbori district that sparked online debate. In the image, she’s perched on a vending machine alongside fiancé Stephan Estopia, a pose some netizens, particularly Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) in Japan, deemed disrespectful.
Kiray quickly addressed the controversy, clarifying that all necessary permits had been secured for the shoot. “Akala ko sa sarili ko, wala lang yun. Sa mga kaibigan ko, wala lang. Pero sa ibang tao, malaking deal pala yun,” she shared, reflecting on how easily perspective can shift. She also offered a heartfelt apology, connecting personally with OFWs: “Mahal ko po [kayo]. Naging OFW ang papa ko po. Kaya alam ko po kung paano mag-work hard sa ibang bansa. Kaya very, very sorry. Wag na kayong magalit. Let’s spread love and I love you all!”
While the vending machine photo stirred debate, other shots from the shoot — playful ramen dates and romantic moments at Shibuya Crossing — have been widely praised by fans.

But Kiray isn’t letting the controversy slow her down. She’s channeling her energy into her growing business ventures. Following the success of Hot Babe Black and Brown, she proudly launched Hot Babe Green, a health-focused beverage line promoting wellness and relaxation. Chamomile Tea supports digestion and cholesterol management, Lemongrass Pandan aids in detoxification, and Pistachio Matcha helps with overall wellness and weight management.
Kiray also introduced Skin Vibe, her newest skincare line, featuring products she personally used for bridal prep. The Singova Bleaching Scrub gently exfoliates for smoother skin, while the Pwettura Bleaching Cream brightens and evens out the complexion, giving her that radiant glow every bride hopes for.
From gracefully handling online criticism to building her brand and preparing for her wedding, Kiray Celis proves she’s thriving — balancing love, career, and personal growth with poise and sincerity.
