LA, USA – Nic Chien has dismissed those who say that members of the LGBTQIA+ community are doomed to hell.
Nic is Lea Salonga’s transgender son.
Nic didn’t mince words when he guested on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.
Nic’s message:
“Screw you…whoever thinks being queer or gay or trans is a choice… no, it’s not a choice!”
He explained: “If I had a choice to only like women, I would choose that choice…if there was an easier out, we would have chosen that a long time ago but we didn’t. Because this is what we really are!”
Despite nasty things spoken by other people, Nic remains grateful that his parents accepted him.
Last November 2025, Nic underwent breast removal surgery–something he informed Lea about beforehand.
Nic said the procedure was the fulfillment of his long-held dream of becoming a man physically.
