Netflix has introduced a new mobile feature called “Moments,” through which users can save and share their favorite clips on other social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, and popular messaging apps. The feature, which enhances social sharing and engagement, is now available on iOS, and it will also be available on Android in a few weeks.
Using Moments is not too terribly complicated of a process so users simply have to click on the “Moments” option on their screen; selected scenes automatically save within the “My Netflix” tab. Users can quickly re-access their saved clips from there and even start up playback right from a bookmarked moment if they go back to watch the episode.
It also allows users who want to share a specific scene quickly and seamlessly with different social media channels. They only need to pick the preferred clip, click on the icon of their favorite social platform, and Moments does the rest.
With a vast library that spans movies, K-dramas, anime, documentaries, concert films, and Netflix original series, the platform is positioning Moments to capture even more engagement from viewers and connect them to the content they love across social channels.
