Mandaluyong City. Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) General Manager Melquiades A. Robles and Assistant General Manager Remeliza M. Gabuyo led the signing of the Agency Agreement for the Small Town Lottery (STL) on September 14, 2022, at Sun Plaza Building, Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong City.
Mr. Eduardo Delos Santos, President of LTS Advance Inc., Ms. Angelina Malupay, Treasurer of Alpha Maximum Gaming Corporation, and Rodolfo Lao, President of Jelbert Rising Sun Corporation, were all present at the said event and accepted the regularization of STL.
The PCSO found that the three STL Authorized Agent Corporation (AACs) followed all the necessary requirements and the management carefully ascertained if they were eligible to operate legally.
During an interview, Atty. Lalaine Dela Victoria, legal counsel of the three AACs, expressed her gratitude to the PCSO for extending their contracts and for giving them another chance to operate STL once again, “In behalf of the three AACs, I would like to thank Chairman Cua, GM Robles and the members of the Board of Directors of PCSO for giving us the opportunity to once again operate STL in our areas of jurisdiction. Dela Victoria said.
This enables us to help PCSO to raise the needed revenues to provide medical assistance to the less fortunate members of our society and to provide the LGUs with medical transport vehicles and medicines for their constituents especially during natural calamities and pandemic. This also enables us to engage the services of hundreds of STL sales agents and supervisors and provide them with a decent source of income,” she added.
PCSO pleaded to the public to support STL and patronize other gaming products of the agency to raise more funds for the government’s priority health programs, generate more jobs and eradicate illegal gambling in the country. (By: Jerwin Palo Nohay / Photos by: Arnold T. Ramos)
