Manama: Pravasi Legal Cell (PLC) Bahrain Chapter “Connecting People Edition 5’ concluded a highly successful legal and medical sessions at the KIMSHEALTH Hospital Auditorium in Umm Al Hassam.
The well-attended event drew a large audience of expatriates seeking valuable information on pertinent legal and medical issues. The event was graced by the presence of members from the diplomatic community, including representatives from the Philippine Embassy led by Vice Consul Laser Blitz Sumagaysay.

Mr. Sudhir Thirunilath, the esteemed President of Pravasi Legal Cell (Bahrain Chapters and Global PRO), graciously delivered his opening remarks during the event, while the highly respected senior journalist, Ms. Raji Unnikrishnan, expertly served as the event’s moderator.
The sessions featured insightful presentations by esteemed speakers: Mr. Madhavan Kallath, a respected legal consultant and General Secretary of the Migrant Workers’ Protection Society (MWPS), who delivered a comprehensive talk on the legal implications of LMRA inspections for expatriates in Bahrain.

Mr. Tariq Ebrahim Alown, legal consultant and PLC panel lawyer, also offered valuable insights on legal matters relevant to expatriates in Bahrain. His presentation provided attendees with a clear understanding of their rights and procedures during LMRA inspections.
Dr. Praveen Kumar, a renowned consultant cardiologist at Royal Bahrain Hospital, shed light on the concerning rise of heart attacks and cardiac deaths among expats. Dr. Kumar’s informative session offered valuable preventive strategies and highlighted the importance of maintaining good heart health while residing abroad.
