After receiving a new search warrant on Friday, officials resumed their raid on a Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator (POGO) hub in Porac, Pampanga, on Saturday.
Usec. In an interview with Super Radyo dzBB, Gilbert Cruz, executive director of the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC), stated that the goal of this morning’s search is to determine whether any more kidnapping victims need to be rescued inside the facility.
Following the rescue of injured foreigners inside the property, authorities discovered evidence of torture.
Among them is a Chinese man chained to a bedpost with many bruises and cuts on his body.
PAOCC also stated that a woman was abused and sold for sexual services within the compound via an online auction.
A prior raid within the property resulted in the arrest of 158 Chinese, Vietnamese, and Malaysian people. Casio had earlier stated that they anticipated to arrest more than 1,000 people, but information about the operation may have leaked.
