After a 16-year collaboration, renowned singer Sarah Geronimo and dance group G-Force have officially parted ways, leaving a sense of breakup in the air.
The split occurred due to artistic differences, as G-Force choreographer Teacher Georcelle decided to withdraw her dancers just two months before Geronimo’s highly anticipated 20th-anniversary concert. Despite the absence of G-Force, the concert was a success.
Teacher Georcelle’s decision was made in respect and support of Geronimo’s desire to explore new artistic directions in her career. The emotional separation felt like a breakup for G-Force, with tears shed by many, including the dedicated choreographers.
Teacher Georcelle clarified that no demand was made, and the decision was her way of granting Geronimo artistic freedom. Despite the split, both parties remain friends.
